Signals Jacket

This jacket was designed to prevent the key issues in cycling, the amount of accidents that occur on a daily basis. To do this, the cause of accidents had to be found and that turned out to be that a cyclist on the road is not clearly noticed or visible to drivers.

This jacket uses LED lighting on the back and down the arms for a brake light and indicators, the reason behind this is that so when the cyclist raises either arm a motion sensor in the wrist detects it and turns that specific indicator on therefore making the cyclist out to be bigger than what he is due to his arm being spread out and other road users are then more aware of them.

It's all powered by a 12 volt battery pack placed at the top of the back for a comfortable weight distribution, there's also a technology that works alongside the battery pack called nano-generators.

These nano-generators collect friction between the two layers of the jacketed covert that into a power which can then feed back to the battery pack and make the power usage more efficient.
