My most recent project, to design a concept rucksack for the adventure trekker out there with a unique selling point. This project was worked on alongside Berghaus, where they would give feedback to a certain extent.

The concept is aimed at the adventure trekker that is going to use aeroplanes and tight public transport to get to their destinations, as the idea of my rucksack is that it has a outer lining tucked away underneath which when needed  will come out and encase the whole rucksack, just leaving the handle on the side free to use. Therefore turning it into a "suitcase".

The details behind this idea are those of to make the life of the user easier and less stressful so then they can enjoy their trek as much as possible. The fact it can become a suitcase means that you are able to go through normal check in at an airport instead of queueing up for a much longer time and worrying about what's going to happen to your belongings.

The rucksack also comes with extra little features for protection of your belongings in these public places, such as the outer lining would act as a deterrent, along with this the other feature for extra security is a coded lock buckle on the front the prevent any casual theft.
